My thoughts on runners 29th/30th December

29th December 2011

Beneficial Reform | Doncaster | 2:55 | The Sorrelcourt Stud Handicap Steeple Chase

Form:

He has won around Doncaster before so the ground and course should suit him. Although he is carrying 11st/8 – which is a bit more weight than we wish for.

Josh Duffy his regular rider is with him at the races today and has reported that Benny has been in exceptional form at home.

Open De L’Isle | Kelso | 3:20 | The totepool Handicap Hurdle Race

Form:

Harry has won around Kelso over Hurdles and Fences at a trip of 2m 2f, so this should suit him well. The only thing against him is the ground and that it may not be as testing as he would like, this is his first time out wearing Sheepskin Cheek Pieces and we hope for a good display.

30th December 2011

Bishops Heir | Haydock Park | 12:50 | The Onestop Hire Novices Handicap Steeple Chase

Form:

A Novice Handicap, the course and ground should suit him as he has run well at Kelso before at a trip of 2m 2f; hopefully he will stay with the extra 2f.

Captain Americo | Haydock park | 2:35 | The Last Fling Steeple Chase

Form:

This race is made for Captain, he is carrying 10st/6 which is a good weight for him. He should handle the ground well with his optimum trip of 3m 5f. Also his first time out wearing  Blinkers, with us.
