A Productive Week!

Schooling

For now the extreme cold has left us and we are tropical compared to the last couple of weeks!  Sadly it meant we had only one runner last week.

However, thankfully a good thaw set in and by Wednesday morning ground conditions were back to normal allowing for some very productive schooling sessions to take place.

Connor O’Farrell came in on a couple of mornings to sit on Charmant prior to Kelso on Sunday where hopefully he will bid for the hat trick. Other runners at Kelso are Charmant, Jassas, Un Guet  Apens, Ange de Malberaux and Ueuetotl.

Eye-catchers schooling with Steven, Connor and Tom included Empire de Maulde and Bill D’Aron who will run soon along with Black Pirate and Detonate both working well.

It is also great to have Ascot de Bruyere back in work.

Kelso are doing a great initiative on Sunday and offering free lunch to Owners in the Parade Ring Marquee and vouchers can be collected at the O and T entrance. This will be much appreciated.

There are then entries for Ayr and Wolverhampton on Monday and Tuesday of next week so far although the forecast for Ayr is not looking good with more snow forecast.

The New Year is a good time to join in the fun involved in The Craig Farm Syndicate membership where for a minimal outlay you are guaranteed plenty of fun with 22 winners from the horses involved to date.  Further details can be found about The Craig Farm Syndicate on the website.

We also have a few calendars left available for sale - a handy reference for the year’s Racing ahead and some great action shots by the Grossick team.

Autumn is here!
