22nd March 2012 Runners- Carlisle

Signalman | 2:30 | 2m | The Emma Conlin Memorial Novices Steeple Chase

Jockey: Brian Hughes

Sponsor: Reid Quantum & ROA

Thoughts:

Signalman ran a good race finishing 2nd last time out; although this was only 7 days ago he seems in good form and is ready to go again. We have the addition of Blinkers, which should hopefully make a positive impact, with the ground, trip and course no problem.

Wilde Pastures | 3:00 | 0-110 | 2m 1f | The Who’s That Gadgee Hoppo’s 70th Birthday Novices Steeple Chase

Jockey: Brian Hughes

Sponsor: Reid Quantum

Thoughts:

Wilde Pastures is a bonny genuine little horse who has performed well in both of his runs this season. Today he runs on his Handicap debut with a mark that is realistic, however Wilde Pastures does have fractionally more weight than we wish. This is in comparison to the favourite ‘Stanley Bridge’ who is carrying 10st/5 compared to our 11st/7, we hope for a good account.

Open De L’Isle | 4:40 | 0-115 | 2m 3f | The Watch Racing UK On Channel  432 Handicap Hurdle Race

Jockey: Brian Hughes

Sponsor: Reid Quantum

Thoughts:

In good form at home and has undergone a full MOT, therefore he has no excuses and we hope for a revived performance.

Super Baby | 5:10 | 0-100 | 2m | The Stars Handicap Steeple Chase

Jockey: Brian Hughes

Sponsor: Reid Quantum

Thoughts:

In good form at home and has undergone a full MOT, therefore he has no excuses and we hope for a revived performance.
