Over the last week, we have had our first winter runners.
Hold Onto The Line went to Ayr on Saturday 4th November for the 2m 4f Handicap Chase and was ridden for the first time by Ryan Mania. He was right up there jumping well until two out when he began to tire. Ryan also commented that he would be more suited to a right had track and we know he loves Musselburgh! This was a good return after his summer break and he will come on for this.
Hashtag Lord was making his chasing debut at Musselburgh in the 1m 7f Handicap Chase with Ryan Mania up. He ran well for a long way and finished fourth. This was an encouraging start to his chasing career.
We are so pleased that Vanda Hillerstrom has finally managed to join her partner Charles Marini at the yard and has brought over from Italy their five horses, two of which are broodmares.
Vanda is a very experienced rider and is a great asset to the team.

At our Owners’ Day, Melanie Horne took plenty of photographs and many of these have now been included on the Horse Pages of the website. Some have been used as the main picture and others have been included in the gallery and you can see these by clicking on either the main photo or the Gallery tab.
It was great to see David Macleod back in the yard for the Owners Day and many of us enjoyed chatting to him again. Below are a few photos of that happy day.

Ask Cory is back in training for Chloe to Point-to-Point and we are on the lookout for a schoolmaster for Leah who has just been to Newmarket for her interview for the Racing School where she will go in April. Well done to her for being accepted.

It was a shock to hear about Graham Lee who has suffered very serious injuries after a fall when leaving the stalls at Newcastle on Friday evening. Graham was a fine jumps jockey before switching to the Flat and rode winners for us. Our thoughts are with his family at this very difficult time.
We have entries this coming week at Ayr and Doncaster.
