Named after a racehorse ridden by James’s great grandfather to win a flat race at Cottenham in 1901 and 1902, he is a full brother to Erimitis. Bred by ourselves and foaled with Helen Latimer, he was broken in here and was in pre training last year. Showed us plenty of ability finding things fairly easy which bodes well. Good stamp, a fine big three-year old who works well at home, defying his age with the older horses. Athletic and it will be nice to get him to the track as a juvenile.
By Black Sam Bellamy who died as a 19yo. A brother to Galileo, he was top class 12 furlong colt and sire of The Giant Bolster, Sam Spinner, Sam Brown etc.
Think Green is a half-sister to black type Baheeja who had four wins on the bounce and placed in the other starts including a Class 2 win at Salisbury (EBF Lochsong Fillies Stakes 0-100). She is now the dam of four winners Dowayla, Tarrob, Romaana and Eshtora and closely related AW winner Ashes Regained and half-sister to 5f-6f winner Grigorovitch and useful sprinter Kayta.
