Half-brother to stable star Empire, we got word on the grapevine that he was for sale, having won two chases already in France and were delighted to secure him this summer through Richard Hobson. He did not arrive in great shape having had a torrid journey over but thrived at grass. A similar intelligent natural leader in the field to his brother and would canter behind the feed truck. He has had two runs on the flat and five runs in chases - a slightly irregular programme which seemed to work! He won at 2m1f on soft at La Roche Sur Yon and at Mont de Marsan over 2m7f on good and showing some versatility like his brother.
