Clondaw Fame joined the yard in March this year. He was placed in four 4yo point to points with some nice form lines – Hector Javelex 123 rated finishing behind him at Dromahane. Consistent and trained well and is a very good sharp jumper. Looked like a drop in trip would suit before unfortunately picking up an injury when entered to run. He has been given the time to recuperate fully and will be worth the patience now.
By Fame and Glory ex Aguida he has had three runs in four year old Irish Point-to-Points coming fourth each time. Maybe he did not stay out the trip/a bit weak. Some decent form lines emerging with Dream in the Park (2nd on his first Point, 2nd at Uttoxeter and Ascot in Bumpers and Hermes Allen who has since won a Point and who was just ahead of him.
He is half-brother to Sneaky Getaway - winner of two bumpers, two novice hurdles and two on the Flat. Also Earth Storm who is a Point winner. The Grand-Dam produced four winners, two French black type jumpers – Astonville and Astigon and also Aspolima who has now produced a three time Auteuil Hurdle winner Aterisk which includes a listed contest.
