Bullion hasn’t really found his way yet and possibly this game is not for him, as sometimes happens but he has been given every chance from the handicapper who now has him down to 83. He was running a good enough race at Hexham jumping handily on the inside but faded quickly, however he was very over-boiled at post and so we will give him the benefit of the doubt and possibly a step back in trip next time. We need to see him really finish out a race with no excuses before making any final decisions. He is training better at home this season and schools very well but is definitely not a straightforward character on course and seems to suffer with his nerves/stage fright!
Full of Gold was a Grade 1 winner but is still a little-known stallion in this country. He is halfbrother to Fuissé who has been bought by Coolmore and is very highly regarded. He is Sire of Allblak des Places who was second in a Grade 1 at Leopardstown in February 2017. The Dam Ryde was a good Hurdler/Chaser in France running at Auteuil and Clarefontaine and she has already produced Innovate and Spice who has amassed winnings of over £80,000.
