A delayed Blog from me!

Sorry that I have been so bad at keeping up with the blog dog news, life as always has been very hectic.

Punchestown - there was an Irish trip recently, sadly I was not on the guest list as I do not have a passport yet- very annoying. I heard that it was a fantastic racecourse so let's hope that we have runners over there in the future. An action shot below!

At least I was lucky enough to have a handmade collar and lead made for me by Jennifer King at www.swagglesdogcollars.com Jennifer worked through the night so that it could come back to Scotland in time - it's so far been modelled at Aintree and I will wear it for Ladies Day at Kelso on Sunday.

Floors Castle Horse Trails - we had a great day with the yard sponsoring the Retired Racehorse Classes, where we were able to hand out the prizes.

Then it was up for lunch - managed to worm my way with sheer cuteness of course into the VIP tent and I even met the owner of the castle!!

Vivian Ewart - I was very sorry to hear that one of my original and most senior fans has passed on she used to give me cod liver oil tablets for my joints and mental capacity! - Amongst other goodies! I will miss my visits to see her but I am sure she will be looking on.

We have been all over the countryside delivering horses to their owners for the summer or the grazing paddocks that we use here. Great that they have had a good start with the glorious sunshine.

End of season party- we headed off to the bowling where the boss had to go and win the competition with only one leg working! - Very mean not to let David Macleod win!

Well done to Dale Irving who is this year’s elected Langholm Cornet he won by a clear margin and we wish him well with his year - exciting times.

DBS - the boss is off to Doncaster this week so fingers crossed he sees some nice horses, so far Tradewinds and Master of the Game have caught his eye... No summer holiday for us then!

Will update again soon,

Luce
