29th March 2012 Runners- Newcastle

Zaru | 2:10 | 2m | The Pins & Needles Show Maiden Hurdle Race

Jockey: Brian Hughes

Sponsor: Reid Quantum

Thoughts:

Difficult to place as a competitive Handicap, Zaru should like the ground, trip and track and we hope he can be placed or have a winning chance for his very patient owners.

High Expectation | 3:10 | 2m 6f | The North East Business Expo Mares Maiden Hurdle Race

Jockey: Brian Hughes

Sponsor: Pharma Tooling

Thoughts:

It is High Expectations first run over Hurdles for us, she enjoys jumping and does so extremely well at home. We hope for an improvement with the step up in trip to 2m 6f and the addition of obstacles. We will be very pleased if she comes within the first three.

Beneficial Reform | 4:50 | 0-140 | 3m | The Thomson's Handicap Steeple Chase

Jockey: Brian Hughes

Thoughts:

If Beneficial Reform (Benny) enjoys the course and ground as the trip and weight bodes no problem then he would have a great chance. He is in the same form as he was when he won at Doncaster on his last outing.
