Calach is a striking Grey 5yo, he is a tall athletic individual at 16.2hh. What makes Calach special is his physical, speed and quality for an AQPS (non-thoroughbred) horse which is exceptional.

He is by Fragrant Mix, Sire of Uxizandre, who won a Grade One in March this year at the Cheltenham Festival.  Other top class horses from this Sire who currently holds 45% winners to runners strike rate are Radium, Relax and Quadrette Collonges.

The Dam Nobless D'Aron never raced with Grand Dam Nivernaise being the winner of four races rated 69kg in France - which is very good. She has produced 4 winning products including sister Devise II, who is a Champion Cross Country horse in France.

Calach has good bone, conformation and movement; he is mentally and physically robust, he is from the breeder Trinquet who was the supplier for many top class French horse for F Doumen, over the years, with Kelami, Innox, L’ami, Onnix, Nitrat, Ommega and Djeddah

Calach is also half-brother to Bill D'Aron and Verni who we had in training for his first three runs in Bumpers and who has gone on to be a winner over Hurdles.

Calach is a lovely scopey horse who did all his prep work well. 4th in his debut at Carlisle in a Bumper, just a little too keen early on but shows great attitude and will be a very exciting Novice Hurdle prospect.
